STEWARDESS BOARD

The word stewardess was first used in 1631. Stewardess references a woman who is employed to provide for and serve others in some special way.

To serve the table of the ministry. To assist in collecting the General Funds. To assist in collecting the salaries of the presiding elder and the pastor. To make, in conjunction with the Board of Stewards, an estimate of appropriations for the pastor.
